Headcanons
i. He sets up three alarms in the morning, each 5 minutes away from each other. He also prefers cold shower over hot shower regardless of the time which gives him colds all the time.ii. He owns a butterfly and tactical knife that he keeps with him at all times. It was a gift given to him by his uncle when he was 5 when he stayed with them for a while. He also has a Walther PPK stashed somewhere in a safe in his apartment.iii. He keeps receipts or a portion of gift wrappers every time he receive something from someone special in his life. He keeps it in a box that he brings with him every time he move places. He also collects trinkets from places that he has been to as a sort of memoir.iv. He is scared of lizards and geckos because he had a dream that it fell on him while he was asleep, another scenario was when a huge gecko fell on him when he was in Negros Occidental.v. He is extremely intelligent, confirmed to have a high IQ yet he refuses to utilize it for important matters and would rather learn about the most unhinge and niche topics. Though he's trying to put it into good use to get through college. His parents also acknowledges his intelligence even before he realized it, exposing him early on in their field of work by making him read and understand certain cases if possible.vi. He passed several ivy league universities in the States and even prestigious universities in South Korea but chose to pursue college in the Philippines. While it may seem puzzling to some, Anton made such a decision not only for his advocacy but to also have a chance to get off his parents’ radar to truly enjoy his life.vii. He has been training and competing as a swimmer since he was 7 years old. While he tried other sports like judo and football, which he kept until he was 15 or so, swimming was the only sport that stuck with him until now. Aside from being a college varsity, he also competes for national and international meets ( representing South Korea because of his nationality ), gaining him significant fame in the field.viii. He has very bad eyesight that requires him to wear prescription glasses or contact lenses. He prefers glasses out of convenience. But he would sometimes forget it ...ix. When he was five, he took a vacation in Korea with his parents where he was accompanied to a facility to train his physical capacity. He was locked in there for a year or two until he was able to defend himself and has developed physical capacity that could even pass him as an assassin or even a high ranking military officer. It was because of his parents’ worry for his safety given his family’s political background. When they moved back to Korea again, he continued such training, giving him almost extraordinary combat and marksman skills.x. The Ongpauco and Lee clans on their own are extremely wealthy, composed of diplomats, military personnel, ambassadors, politicians, and lawyers. It gives Anton not just access and connections within different governments but also lingering fear for his life. His migration to the Philippines alone for college was a huge worry for his parents, leaving them with no choice but to hire bodyguards for him that lives within the vicinity.xi. He keeps a laidback and playful attitude to cover up for his family and personal background. He uses it as a defense mechanism to not expose his true ( and arguably important ) identity. He still goes to diplomatic dinners in different countries and even courtesy calls with different leaders whenever possible because his father forces him to.xii. When he was 17, he was able to engineer a web and web-shooter mechanism similar to Spider-Man's in the movies. However, his was still very fragile and still couldn't handle the weight of a person. Until now, he’s still developing said web and web shooter by manipulating the composition and structure of the elements.

Early Life
Anton’s life was not built on rainbows but rather in an empty and barely designed, marketed as minimalist, 3-bedroom penthouse apartment in either New Jersey or Seoul. His parents‘ occupation did more than enough to provide food to their table, more than enough to even send him to prestigious academies and cram schools with ease. However, there is always a price to pay in being afforded a well-off lifestyle—Christmas evenings cut short because of important client meetings, New Years‘ eve celebrated on deafening silence whilst embracing yourself in the middle of, arguably, the most expensive penthouse in Seoul, or birthdays spent with sticky notes and a few hundred dollars as compensation for their non-existent presence. He couldn’t even bear to make and maintain friendships with the assumption that a few years or the next, he would find himself in an entirely different city, or perhaps even country. Anton was forced to grow up with his parents’ careers, particularly the demand to jump from one place to another because of job relocation. While born in New Jersey, he spent a good amount of his teenage years in South Korea with his 외할아버지 and 외할머니 when his father had to relocate to Seoul and his mother taking over the family firm in said district. During his 10th to 12th grade, he had to move and live alone in Busan during school days after deciding to pursue his studies in KSA in hopes of being able to study in a prestigious university, the pressure that came along with being the only son of two well-know lawyers in their respective fields. His summers, on the other hand, is an entirely different story and by far the only thing that he looked forward to. Ever since, he would either spend it in China, where his paternal grandparents are, or Philippines. Such breath of fresh air introduced Anton to, not only various cultures, but have also made him understand society furthermore. Perhaps, that’s also when he grew to understand the passion and grit his parents have for their jobs, and learned how not to resent them for choosing the self-less path. One particular memory that Anton has was when he spent his summer in Bacolod wherein he met a bunch of people and a group of farmers that he grew fond of and later on became his so-called family in the Philippines.Perhaps what he longs for isn‘t the grandiose of things—not the spotlight, not the intimate diplomatic dinners, not even the hundreds of square meters in the bustling district of Seoul or Shanghai. But rather a quiet evening with the people, or a person, he could not only call as his family but also treat as his home.

Turning Point
Anton was in his 11th grade of high school in South Korea when he decided to spend his summer in the Philippines. It wasn’t new to his parents as he was already going back and forth to the country ever since he was 5, staying with his father’s college barkadas or his mother’s relatives. What was new to them was Anton’s decision to visit and stay in the Negros islands where he would encounter what would open his eyes to the reality of the world. Some of his mother’s relatives (their relatives) live in Bacolod, where modernization became almost second nature and wherein buildings and villages co-exist with rice plantations. It is no secret that Anton grew up with silver spoon, with everything provided and afforded to him, where he did not have to ask twice for something that he wanted. However, everything, including his perspective and entire worldview, changed when he met upon a group of farmers as he was traveling to the more rural areas of Negros Occidental. There, he met the family of his Nanay Kusing and Tatay Abelardo who have not only been residents there for their entire lives but also caretakers of several rice and sugarcane plantations in the area. Such an encounter introduced him to the persistent issues of land grabbing and the inequalities embedded in the entire system of land owners and farmers and peasantry. He accompanied them during meetings and even during harvest seasons, making sure to maintain contact with them, and many other families and farmers within the area, even after going back to South Korea.Said encounter became Anton’s motivation and reason for choosing to pursue his college years in the Philippines despite passing universities both in South Korea and America. To him, he not only wanted to expose himself in an entirely different culture and environment, but also to immerse himself in reality to not only better understand what is happening but at some point, provide answers and help to end such a system in the country. While his parents yearned to help immigrants and refugees, Anton wanted to help the locals in creating a space that is not only meant for them but also tailored for them.
